First and foremost I would like to introduce myself. I am Coach Chris, the founder/co- owner of the Houston Stingers Baseball Club! I myself was a Minnesota Twins prospect out of high school here in Houston but unfortunately life happens and things take a different route! At the age of 5 I lost my mother to cancer and at 19 lost my father to an unexpected cardiac arrest while in the process of getting ready for MLB draft. That dream was thrown out of the window in that moment as I now had to prepare myself for the life ahead. Fast forward 4 years later I woke up one morning and immediately had the thought that I was not done with baseball. From that thought birthed the Houston Stingers. With myself having played select travel ball as a kid I knew the challenges of being on a team. The cost, equipment, travel, uniforms, lessons, etc. all add up very fast in this sport so when creating this organization one of the goals was to cut fees by as much as possible so that way any and everyone that enjoyed the game of baseball could bring their kid along with out the worry of not being able to afford it! Our mission is to continue to serve our community and guide our youth in positive ways that not only benefits them but everyone around them as well!
